scholarships

Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

The Foundation’s main purpose, according to articles 2 and 5 of its statute (pending final approval at the Prefecture of Rome as of June 2009), is to grant scholarships and fellowships in an amount and quantity established by the Board of Directors of the Foundation.

Annual scholarships, which may be renewed for a second year, are awarded to talented graduates in economics or finance who wish to pursue doctoral studies abroad. In 2008, UniCredit Group presented two seventh-edition Giovanna Crivelli scholarships worth €25,000 apiece to Giulia Piacentino and Roberto Robatto, with Chairman Dieter Rampl and CEO Alessandro Profumo formally presiding over the awards ceremony in May 2009.

The Foundation has already posted online the announcements of the two eighth-edition  Crivelli Scholarships , open to students of all nationalities who have graduated from an Italian university, and of the first edition of the  Ugo Foscolo Europe Scholarship, open to all European graduates. Additionally, by the end of September, the first edition of the Leopold Gratz Scholarship for Austrian university graduates will be announced.
