UniCredit & Universities Foundation

Welcome to UniCredit & Universities!

The 2009 Ugo Foscolo Europe Fellowships, in their first edition, are intended to support the homecoming of great European minds. The fellowships are aimed at the most talented researchers who initially graduated from European universities and then went on to complete a Ph.D. in economics or finance outside of the continent; applicants must still be teaching or researching abroad, with an intention to return to Europe to continue their research.

These fellowships will be awarded every two years, covering a two-year period of research, and they are renewable for an additional two years. The grants amount to an annual payment of €60,000.

The first Ugo Foscolo Europe Fellowship for the academic year has already been announced. While the third Crivelli Fellowship is expected to be announced by June 2010. The fellowships named after Ugo Foscolo and Giovanna Crivelli will alternate each year in order to ensure support both for economic research in Europe and for the return of some of Europe’s best minds.
